Family dinner on 15th December. Ran out of pigs in blanket. Served scrag ends of turkey ? It's 10 days before Xmas day?? Meat was cold. Staff friendly and polite. Strange order system for drinks , deserts etc ( can't order at bar or add to table number ) have to go to front desk to pay?? Have had better, cheaper meals within a 20 mile radius. Price is not main driver, we don't mind paying. There weren't many people in for lunch. Cannot believe what it would be like if they were busy. Had heard good reviews, maybe they were having a bad day???

It’s a really nice place but after looking at the review of someone else their lasagna looked much nicer than the one I had. Looked more fresh and cleaner. The staff are friendly and nice. Dogs are welcomed which is good. The burger was alright however the onion rings tastes like they were dipped in toilet water. The fudge cake was the best thing they have so it’s definitely worth getting that.

Our 5th stay here at Woodthorpe and must say the food everytime we eat here at Woodys has been fantastic. Great service with a cosy welcoming local atmosphere.. be sure to catch the Quiz and Bingo nights given the opportunity. Be sure to catch a 6th visit...

If you want a salad with no dressing, even though the menu shows the salad comes with it, you will love it. We normally come here because it's kid friendly and the kids can play without is worrying. But the food is atrocious if you want anything other than a burger or any meat. This was the second time I ordered a salad and it came with no dressing. When I asked for some, I was told they were out. Not even some olive oil and vinegar. I've had better salad from Tesco for £1 and even that come with a sorry sachet of dressing.

Out for a spot of Lunch a good choice from both menus,
100% recommend this place, pay and play golf, Tourers And Camping statics, children's park dogs definitely welcome outside and I think in the conservatory if dining but double check ✔

The ladies that served us were so lovely. It was like going back in time. It was such a pleasure to have a lovely meal in Woodys served by these ladies. Thank you so much, we will definitely return 😊

We had Lincolnshire sausages (3) on a bed of mash with crispy onions (yum yum) and carrots, sugar snap peas and tender stem broccoli with a jug of gravy all excellent

Great food. Good portions and well presented. Comfortable and clean accommodation. A very pleasant and friendly young woman took our orders and delivered the food within 15-20 minutes. Highly recommended

Family meal tonight for my daughter’s birthday , cannot fault anything , food and service absolutely perfect . Waiter called Scott I believe went beyond his duties and organised the cake we took in for my daughter . Would definitely recommend and we will definitely eat here again . Plus dog friendly with a separate area for dining if you take your dog

Called in for dinner today. All bar staff very polite and service excellent.
Ordered meals - home made steak pie and hunters chicken. Both were delicious and good value for money. Would go again.

The food was delicious, perfect portions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and family friendly. Fast service and amazing layout… able to fit pushchair round easily and wasn’t in the way.

My husband and I had a takeaway for tea tonight. We both chose the pie and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. It couldn't have been better. We stay at the park regularly and have always been impressed with the food. The staff were extremely polite and friendly as well.

We goto Woodys regularly and the food is always amazing, the staff are lovely and polite. The manager is second to none, he goes above and beyond for his customers. I would highly recommend this place for excellent food and the little ones are also catered for with both menu and outdoor play area.

So I rang booking for 3 people they said fully booked I rang back a said I’m with the golf captain could I have a table for 3 people straight away yes sure !!
Bloody hypocrites ! Gone so down hill since Janet handed it over ! An gayle left !
So so poor ! Some of the wait staff haven’t got a clue a some are brilliant !

We have been here a few times and this was the worse time .the food was inedible to be fair .which was a big disappointment. There was 4 of us 2 of us had surf and turf the steak was awful very chewy and tough.the other 2 had brisket which usually is beautiful today it wasnt I dont know if they have a new chef but it isnt working.the waiter was useless he had to come back 3 times as he had to tell us about our order .2 of our family had travelled 80 miles to have the brisket. It was a big let down.i did complain and we got £10 off our £100 bill. Very disappointed Woodys .

If I could rate 0 I would. Can't be bothered to go through everything that happen as I'd be writing a book on how not to run a restaurant. But if you want a fawlty towers style dining experience then book away. How this place is in business baffles me more than it probably should.
